Founded in 2019 by passionate animal Lover Kayleigh Gair, Crazy Tails Cat Kingdom began with a simple yet profound desire to make a difference in the lives of stray and abandoned cats in Belize. With the alarming number of feral felines roaming the streets, coupled with limited resources for their care, Crazy Tails emerged as a beacon of hope for these furry creatures. in 2020 after a substantial and horrific kitten season, Crazy Tails opened their spay and neuter program to the public. Thus far having spayed and neutered 769 of our feline friends.
As we step into the Kingdom. We’re greeted by a chorus of meows and purrs, each one echoing tales of resilience and second chances. Kayleigh has dedicated so much of her time to Crazy Tails. She works tirelessly to provide essential care, including food, shelter, veterinary services, and, most importantly, love and companionship.
Exploring the Kingdom:
The Kingdom itself is a haven for cats of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. From playful kittens frolicking in the sun to wise old cats basking in the tranquility of their surroundings, each resident has a story to tell. Each feline has a unique name. What is even more remarkable is that Kayleigh knows them all. While we were there she had 93 cats living in the Kingdom. Visitors are invited to wander through the kingdom’s grounds, where they’ll encounter cozy shelters, climbing structures, and plenty of spots for feline relaxation.
But Crazy Tails is more than just a temporary home for these cats—it’s a place of healing and transformation. Many of the haven’s residents arrive with physical injuries or emotional scars, having endured hardships on the streets. Through the dedicated care and compassion of Kayleigh and her volunteers, these cats are given the chance to heal and thrive in a nurturing environment.

At Crazy Tails Cat Kingdom, every cat matters. Whether they find their forever home or spend their days in the kingdom’s care, each feline receives the love and attention they deserve.
