As a Canadian, I came to Etre Vu Love Fest 2025 with zero expectations—mostly because, apart from one artist, I had never heard of anyone performing. I love live music and festivals, but this was my first time experiencing Belizean, Caribbean, and Latin music on such a massive scale. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from the moment I arrived in Santa Elena, You could feel the energy.
The festival lineup featured Rossy War, Armanii, and Busy Signal, with appearances by Stig Da Artist, Don Doe & Yas Thalia, etc. with DJs like Mixtape Biggz, Dj Jango, and many more spinning a mix of rap, R&B, dancehall, and Reggae. Even though most of the music was new to me, I quickly realized that Love Fest isn’t about knowing the songs—it’s about feeling the vibe.
Why We Chose VIP: The Ultimate Festival Upgrade
We had purchased VIP tickets, knowing that our friends at Wine Smith LTD and JSL Wines would be in the exclusive section. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions of the night. The dedicated parking saved us from the long walks, our VIP entrance was seamless, and we were closer to the stage—giving us the best view of all the performances. Plus, we were given party favors, adding a little extra fun to an already buzzing atmosphere.

The DJs Set the Night in Motion
Before the live performances even began, the festival grounds were already pulsing with energy thanks to a lineup of top DJs. The music was a blend of Rap, R&B, Dancehall, Hip Hop, and Reggaeton, keeping the crowd moving non-stop. Some of the music played brought me back to my Clubbing days and even though I wasn’t familiar with some of the tracks, it didn’t matter—the energy was contagious.
One DJ who stood out was Mixtape Biggz, whose transitions between genres were seamless. Although his set was earlier into the night, he had me dancing as we arrived and it was impossible not to get swept up in the hype. For someone new to the Belizean festival scene, this was the perfect way to start the night.
Rossy War: A Latin Legend in Action
The first live act was Rossy War, and the moment she stepped on stage, I could tell she was a legend—at least to everyone around me. Fans cheered, singing every lyric as she delivered her techno-cumbia classics.
I had never listened to techno-cumbia before, but watching the crowd dance in sync to songs like “Nunca Pensé Llorar” was amazing. Even though I didn’t know the words, I felt swept up in the energy, dancing along with everyone else. It was my first real exposure to Latin music culture in Belize, and I was loving every second of it.

Stig Da Arrtist, and an Entourage of Belizean Artists: A Short Set That Left a Big Impression
Then came Stig Da Artist, joined by talented artists like Don Doe and Yas Thalia, and for the first time all night, I felt a personal connection to the music. We had briefly met Stig Da Artist last year on a pontoon boat tour hosted by Wine Smith LTD,And JSL Wines and since then, I’ve been following his music. But seeing him perform live was on a whole different level—His energy was dynamic and contagious. This set also introduced us to so many other incredible Belizean artists, making it an unforgettable moment of pure musical discovery.
Stig’s set may have been short, but it was electrifying, seamlessly blending Dancehall with distinct Belizean rhythms. From the moment he hit the stage, he commanded the crowd’s attention, delivering a performance filled with pure energy and undeniable presence. His sound was impossible to ignore, and by the time he wrapped up, I was left wanting more, wishing his set had lasted longer.
Later in the night, I had the chance to chat with him, and his down-to-earth personality made the experience even more memorable. We talked about his plans to launch Être Vu merch, and as someone who’s already a fan, I can’t wait to see it hit the market!

Armanii’s Smooth & Soulful Performance
Next up was Armanii, and his performance completely shifted the energy of the night. Blending R&B, reggae, and dancehall, he created a smooth yet infectious vibe that had the crowd fully locked in. From the moment he stepped on stage, it was clear—this artist came prepared to make an impact.
Midway through his set, he made a bold move that took the concert to another level. Stopping mid-song, he turned to the general admission crowd and shouted for them to tear down the barrier. And that’s exactly what they did. In seconds, fans rushed forward, breaking the divide, turning the venue into one massive, unified party. The energy was electric, and suddenly, it felt like everyone was part of the same moment, standing together in front of the stage.

Busy Signal Closes the Festival with Pure Fire
The Final Act of the night belonged to Busy Signal, and from the moment he stepped on stage, the entire festival exploded with energy. Even though I wasn’t familiar with his music, it was instantly clear that he was a superstar in the eyes of everyone around me. The crowd’s reaction was electric—they weren’t just watching a performance but part of it.
When he launched into hits like “Stay So”, the audience erupted, singing every word at the top of their lungs. Watching fans completely lose themselves in the music was unreal—It was beyond a concert; it was an unforgettable experience. Even without knowing the songs, the energy was impossible to resist. His stage presence was magnetic, commanding every inch of the space and making sure no one stood still.
By the time he wrapped up his set, the festival had reached its peak—a final surge of pure hype. Busy Signal didn’t just close the show—he shut it down in epic fashion, leaving the crowd buzzing long after the last beat dropped.

A Festival to Remember
Love Fest 2025 was more than just a concert—it was a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and unity. With a lineup that seamlessly blended Latin beats, soulful R&B, high-energy Dancehall, and the unmistakable rhythms of Belizean music, the festival was a true showcase of the rich diversity of Caribbean and Latin soundscapes.
From the moment the DJs set the tone with electrifying mixes to the unforgettable live performances that followed, every beat, every song, and every moment pulled me deeper into the experience. As a first-time festival-goer in Belize, this night was a journey of discovery—new music, new energy, and a whole new appreciation for the pulse of this incredible country.
Love Fest wasn’t just about hearing music; it was about feeling it, living it, and letting it take over. And for this Canadian, it was an unforgettable reminder that music has no borders—just one love, one vibe.
